INTRODUCTION

The Arpents du Soleil labels come in four colours corresponding to the fours
wines in each vintage. Their diverse tastes will surprise you. The mention of grape varieties is also on the label since 2010 vintage.

Since 2009 all the wines are approved as “Vin de pays du Calvados Indication Géographique Protégée”, and since 2011 “Vin de pays du Calvados-Grisy Indication Géographique Protégée”.
The ageing and improving potential is several years. Over time the wines will be transformed and the fruity aromas of their youth will give way to the aromas of minerals (naptha), mild spices, and honey, signatures of their terroir.

Enjoy tranquil drinking using large wine glasses as the flavours evolve over minutes and even hours if the bottle is left open in the refrigerator, proof of their complexity and potential for ageing.
If tasting our wines simultaneously the best order seems to be;
Blue, olive green, green-grey, purple, orange and red.

Don’t hesitate to blind taste the wines with your guests, even compare them with wines from other regions. You’ll be surprised at the result.
